Do you have plans this October Half-Term?

Next week is Half-Term in the UK, and most students will be staying at the college. There are lots of activities planned, and it’s also an opportunity for students to visit Oxford with their friends.

There is a day trip planned to the Roman Baths in Bath, which consist of the remarkably preserved remains of one of the greatest religious spas of the ancient world. The city’s unique thermal springs rise in the site and the Baths still flow with natural hot water.

There is also a trip planned to the vibrant and creative seaside town of Brighton where students can shop in the old Lanes, or watch the waves from Brighton Pier.

For those wanting to experience the ‘other’ great university city of Cambridge, there is a trip planned to the wonderful King’s College, founded by Henry VI in 1441!

Students can also go horse riding in the Cotswolds, taking in the breathtaking countryside hacking through small country villages and estates.

For an energetic and fun-filled afternoon, there is also paint-balling in the woods followed by pizza!

What are your plans this Half-Term?
