Tutor Spotlight: Jane Goodland

Campus Oxford - Jane Goodland MA (Hons) CantabProbability & Statistics AND Algebra & Calculus (Cambridge)

Jane has always loved Maths and can’t imagine doing a job that doesn’t involve it. She studied Maths at Cambridge University because she knew that until that point she had only really touched the surface.

Whilst at Cambridge, she covered a whole range of topics and went on to specialise in Combinatorics (how many ways there are to do things) and Probability (including the theory of Queues). Jane now teaches Maths both in a school and privately and she aims to bring creativity and problem solving to all her lessons. When not engaged with maths, she enjoys sewing, cooking and spending time in the countryside.
